Replace-a-Top is quieter than a factory hardtop. That's
right, quieter than a factory hardtop! That's not
just an improvement, it's a miracle. Sailcloth is
a 4-ply material made up of vinyl, rubber, and fabric
and reduces cabin noise by 50% at highway speeds compared
to the old Jeep 2-ply soft top fabric. Road sounds,
wind noise, and annoying top flapping are virtually
silenced! In addition, the top wears better, is more
tear-resistant and resists temperature changes better
than traditional top fabrics. To top it off (literally!),
the exterior surface texture is bigger and more open
making it easier to clean. Sailcloth tops come standard
on 2001 TJ's and now you can upgrade from your factory
soft top-Experience the Sailcloth revolution! This
top fits factory 1/2 steel doors. **Will not work
on 1987-88 models with upper doors that attach to
