Hanson
Rocker’s combine tough 3/16" steel, maximum
bottom and side impact protection, and sleek styling.
Rocker’s attach easily with 5/16-18 truss
head machine screws (provided) into side of tub
and up through floor pan on the bottom.
A"Z"
form is welded onto the bottom of the main panel
for bolting to the floor pan. Panels protrude out
2" from tub and are 5 1/2" high on sides.
There’s only about ½” of vertical
ground clearance lost.
The
ends of all rockers are cut with a compound miter
method to match the flare angle. They are capped
and ground smooth. Capping prevents the ends from
distorting, as this is where the rockers will take
a good percentage of hits. Capping the ends is an
extra step that is worth the effort to create a
much stronger Rocker.
For
vehicles with mismatched tubs, front fenders, flairs,
or even odd aftermarket flairs, components can be
purchased for assembling to the requirement of your
combination. The cost of these kits will vary according
to the pieces required (approx. $140) Email or fax
the combination and a tech will respond. Keep in
mind that these items will only be close, so cutting
the Rocker Forms to length and maybe trimming the
end caps before putting together will be necessary.
